Dishonest Lawyers of Manatt Named In A RICO Case

(Manatt attorneys go, rogue, named in a RICO case)

Attorneys from the Manatt Group – Ileana Hernandez, John LeBlanc, and Kenneth Julian were labeled as lawbreakers in a billion-dollar lawsuit for planning a bold scheme without considering the needs of the helpless and incapable patients who have been on the streets ever since their collaboration with Centene and Health Net which resulted in the payment denial to several behavioral health centers in Arizona and California. Their actions have damaged the reputation of the Manatt law firm, Phelps & Phillips as it obscures the tenants of fair play and may be interpreted as a white-collar crime of unrivaled scale.

Several pressed charges against the lawyers

By filing lawsuits and launching press releases that are misguided, Michael Neirdorffs plans, the CEO of Centene to mislead the media and the stakeholders, and stole millions from a loss-making merger with Health Net which made Sovereign earned its wrath.

The lawyers were also accused of engaging in practices that violated:

  • Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO);
  • Conspiracy to Violate RICO;
  • Intentional Interference with Prospective Economic Advantage; and
  • Violation of Unfair Competition Law.

RICO is a federal law designed to combat organized crime in the United States in 1970. It allows prosecution and civil penalties for racketeering activity performed as part of an ongoing criminal enterprise.

Slandering by the Manatt team

Neidorff restated Centene’s finances because of its dropped price share of $1 billion and used Manatt’s services to ensure that the inadequate financial health of Health Net remained classified which made the merger materialized immediately, looting his millions in the dilemma.

The three lawyers pulled up a detailed game plan on how to go after Sovereign Health. It was evident from the FBI raid initiated by the Manatt team that they were uninterested in the outcome of their actions. The attorneys stood guilty of negligence of duty and failed to fulfill their moral and legal obligations and have earned a bad reputation to the public.
