The jury also heard how Centene tried to obfuscate their ownership of the companies and the entities responsible for paying the do them.

One of the complaints of Ambetter of Arkansa stated  he owed a refund of $3,712.27 since May 2018. he has been trying to get a reprinted check with a corrected date. He received a check refund for $3,712.27 on May 6, 2018, with a date printed on it of December 28, 2016. And his bank would not cash it. He also has documentation of the date check was received in the mail. He has called 4 times and emailed twice trying to get a reprinted check with a good date on it for the bank to accept. Each time he calls he has waited more than the appropriate 14 business days for a new check in the mail and no solution granted from the health insurance provider.
